Welcome to Rovey Farms and Grande Ronde Dairy!

Thank you so much for your interest in our herd! This operation is family owned and managed by Byron and Stephanie Rovey and 5 young sons Collin, Tanner, Parker, Declan and Oliver.
Our farm is a production agriculture operation specializing in alfalfa, canola seed, sugar beets, sunflower seeds, triticale, peas, wheat.... and of course some beautiful dairy goats!!
The herd began in Illinois as a 4-H project for Stephanie and after moving out west in 2004 has come to our permanent home in Northeast Oregon. Many of the bloodlines originate from the midwest with influence from western herds within the last 5 years. Please note that any animals with the herdname "Autumn Glory" are from the original family herd still existing in central Illinois.
The show herd is housed and milked on separate property from the commercial dairy. As a rule kids at Grande Ronde Nubians are removed from their dams at birth and hand raised on a strict CAE/CL prevention program. All presold kids will be separated and fed pasteurized milk, as well as all intended show kids and show dams. The herd is tested annually for CAE and CL.
